Tenafly is a community in Bergen
County, New Jersey. Of the 14,000 residents in the community, nearly 4,000 of
them participate in this event. The Tenafly 5k is undoubtedly the
premier event in Tenafly.
This event has the endorsement of the
Tenafly Borough Council and the Tenafly Board of Education. The
Tenafly Borough Council proclaims race day as “Tenafly Student
Recognition Day.”
The Mayor and members of the Borough
Council, along with the Superintendent of Schools, Principals, and
members of the School Board enjoy participating in this event every
year.
