5K Run/ Walk/ Stroller Trot:
|
The 5K Run/Walk/Stroller Trot begins at 9:00 sharp. The starting line and the finish line are on Sunset Lane, near the entrance to the track. The 5K Run features an Elite Runner Start, which allows under-21:00 5k runners to start in the front of the pack. The race features ChronoTrack D-Tag electronic timing.

5K Course:
|
The race starts on Sunset Lane, following a mostly residential course through the streets of Tenafly. There is a hill midway through the race (Norman Place) and another short hill around 2.5 miles into the race (Virginia Street).
There are five water stations on the course.
The 5-kilometer course is
certified by USATF.

5K Rolo Dog Walk:
|
The 5K Rolo Dog
Walk starts at 9:10, after the 5K runners are on their way. It follows the same course as the 5K run.
Awards
to top 3 dog walkers.
The Rolo Dog Walk is named for Rolo, the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center pet therapy dog. Click here for a photo of Rolo!

Dog Parade:
|
The Dog Parade begins at 10:00 outside the new gym at Tenafly Middle School and takes place on the field behind the school. The course consists of several obstacles and
contests.
All dogs receive a medal.
Additional awards are given
for: Best Hair & Nails, Best Trick
for a Biscuit, Best Dog and Human Look-Alikes,
Best Dog and Human Dance Contest, and Doggie Idol.

1-Mile Fun Run: |
The 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 10:30 outside the new gym at Tenafly Middle School.
The Fun Run is led by the Tenafly High School Track Team.
All finishers receive a medal.

1-Mile Doggie Fun Run: |
The 1-Mile Doggie Fun Run starts at 10:40, following the same course as the 1-Mile Fun Run. It begins outside the new gym at Tenafly Middle School.

|
Challenge Run for Children and Adults with Special Needs: |
A challenge course and field events for children and adults with special needs will begin on the track at 10:00. It will be followed by a 1-lap run, 100-meter ambulatory challenge, and 100-meter wheelchair challenge on the track at 10:45.
Participants can enjoy these activities with or without a supervising partner. This is not a drop-off activity.
All participants will receive a medal.
