5k Course:

The race starts on Sunset Lane, following a mostly residential course through the streets of Tenafly with a finish on the Tenafly Middle School track.

The 5 kilometer course is certified by USATF.

5k Awards:

Top 3 overall Male and Female;

Top Tenafly resident Male and Female;

Top 3 Male and Female:

       non-Tenafly 13 & under,

       non-Tenafly 14-18,

       all towns 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,

                     60-69, 70-79, 80+.

Top 3 Male and Female for every Tenafly grade (K-12).

Top 3 Male and Female Tenafly public schools staff.

No duplicate awards.

Rolo Dog Walk and 5k Stroller Trot:

The 5k Rolo Dog Walk and 5k Stroller Trot start after the 5k runners are on their way. It follows the same course as the 5k run.

Awards to top 3 dog walkers and top 3 stroller trotters.

The Rolo Dog Walk is named for Rolo, the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center pet therapy dog. Click here for a photo of Rolo!

Dog Parade:

The Dog Parade begins outside the new gym at Tenafly Middle School and takes place on the field behind the school. The course consists of several obstacles and contests.

All dogs receive a medal.

Additional awards are given for: Best Hair & Nails, Best Trick for a Biscuit, Best Dog and Human Look-Alikes, Best Dog and Human Dance Contest, and Doggie Idol.

1-Mile Fun Run:

The 1-Mile Fun Run begins outside the new gym at Tenafly Middle School. The Fun Run makes a loop through the Roosevelt Commons and around the front of the Middle School, with a finish on the track.

The Fun Run is led by the Tenafly High School Track Team.

All finishers receive a medal.

Amenities:

Elite Runner start (for under-21:00 5k runners);

ChampionChip scoring;

Clocks at 1 mile, 2 mile, 2.9 mile, and finish line;

Five water stations on the course;

T-shirts, water bottles, tote bags, and more giveaways to all registrants (while supplies last).
